Baseball practice has been cancelled for today.

Last week, 6th grader Lyla Wroble competed at the World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky. Lyla rode against the top riders from across the county in her age group and won 1st Place! This was her second year in a row accomplishing top honors and we are so happy for her achievement. Congratulations!

 

Girls basketball tryouts will continue this week. 6th grade tryouts will be today, 8/29, 2:30-4:00pm. 7th and 8th grade tryouts will be tomorrow, 8/30, 2:30-4:30pm.

 

The MJH Library is holding a book sale through September 14th. All books, on the designated cart, are .50 cents. Please stop by and take a look.

 

This is a reminder that all students interested in joining the Bowling Club need to return their completed packet and payment to Ms. Isdonas or Mrs. Grabowski by the end of the day on Friday!  Please see either teacher if you are interested in joining, but were unable to attend the meeting on Monday."

 

This is a reminder that anyone who is interested in joining choir must complete their registration by Friday, August 31st. Choir rehearsals will begin on Thursday, September 6th during advisory. Please see Mrs. Cheney with any questions.

 

Are you looking for a way to be involved in school? Do you enjoy planning events for your friends?  Are you an idea person? If so, Student Council may be for you! Each advisory class needs a representative. Let your teacher know if you are interested in being that person. Elections will be held on Friday.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Klappauf or Mrs. Baltzer. 

 

Do you like to act? Perform in front of the mirror or others? Do your friends accuse you of being dramatic? Do you enjoy being in the spotlight or the center of attention? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Speech Team is for you. Attend the Informational Meeting after School Wednesday, September 5, 2:30-3:00pm, in Ms. Albon’s room: A201.

 

If you like to read and share a good book with others, then please join our Book Club. Please sign up in the Library or see Mrs. Scannell. An information meeting will be held September 18th, 2:20-2:35.
