Welcome to Mokena Elementary School!
As Principal, I am truly honored to lead a school deeply committed to excellence in education. At MES, we foster a nurturing and inclusive culture where differentiated instruction empowers each child to reach their fullest potential. Our students are part of an active learning community that cultivates not only academic growth but also the personal and collaborative skills essential for becoming thoughtful, engaged citizens.
Mokena has a proud tradition of valuing education, and I am excited to partner with you to ensure our students thrive. Our vibrant school community is enriched by the dedication and generosity of two active parent organizations, the Mokena PTA and the Mokena Education Foundation, whose support helps bring our school’s vision to life.
I warmly invite you to stop and say hello if you see me in the car line or around the building. Building strong, trusting relationships with our families is a priority and a joy for me.

Principal's Biography
Mrs. Chorley holds a B.S.Ed. and an M.S.Ed. from Eastern Illinois University, and an M.S.Ed. in School Leadership from Concordia University. She taught in both suburban and urban school districts and served as a Pupil Services Administrator for four years in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. Mrs. Chorley has been the Principal at Mokena Elementary School since 2018. She resides in a nearby community with her husband and three children.
