Get ready for the 2025-2026 school year!

Save the dates for our back-to-school events this month! We look forward to welcoming our students and families back soon!

The 2025-2026 school year calendar has been revised due to recent notification that one of our schools is being used as a polling place while students were scheduled to be in session. This means there is no school for all students on the March 17th which moves the last day of the school year to Friday, May 29th. The calendar can be found on our website at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NBgnJ0fUD8mpufZAPiBRno2WfA3BiGsj/view .

Our tech department has been very busy this summer refreshing and preparing over 2,000 current and new tech devices to ensure our students and teachers are ready to start the school year! Thank you to our tech crew for their hard work!

Please be advised if you are visiting MES today!

The Will County Regional Office of Education is hosting a Back-to-School event on August 1st in Manhattan. This event will feature free backpacks and school supples, generously donated by local businesses, to help ensure every child starts the year ready to learn!

We hope to meet all of our new Kindergarten students! Thank you to the Mokena PTA for hosting!

One month until our first day of the 2025-2026 school year!

New student enrollment and returning student registration has resumed in Skyward for the 2025-2026 school year. Please check your email or visit the district website (www.mokena159.org) for information and directions. As a reminder, all returning students must complete registration yearly as this is used to create class lists and student schedules.

The MES Carnival was a wonderful end-of-year event for our Stars! Rain or shine, students had so fun together!

MES students decorated hundreds of Kindness Rocks as a end-of-year activity with Mr. Hippleheuser. These rocks will continue to be hidden throughout Mokena over the summer. Head over to the "Mokena Rocks!" Facebook page for clues from Mr. H on where some may be hidden and to share your finds! Have you found any of our MES Kindness Rocks yet?
