September is National Attendance Awareness Month! Did you know the state of Illinois considers students who miss 10% or more of the school year chronically absent? This includes both unexcused and excused absences. Chronic absenteeism counts towards 20% of each of our school's state report card designation because being at school is that important! We know sometimes challenges come up like illness or family emergencies, but when possible, please make school a priority and encourage your child to be here each day. Thank you for partnering with us; together we can make sure every student is present, engaged, and on the path to success!

3rd grade students in Mrs. Janes' social studies class created a three-dimensional model of the Earth as part of their first lesson in our new social studies program!
