Congratulations to the Mokena Junior High School Faculty and Students on earning an Exemplary State Designation.
Designations are based on several factors including academic proficiency, growth, and attendance. Not only did our students do extremely well in proficiency, our students were in the top 1% for growth in English Language Arts in the state, and in the top 3.2% for growth in Math in the state. Our growth numbers put us as the #1 school in Will County for ELA, and tied for #2 in math.
This is due to the incredible work of our staff and students.
