At last night's Board of Education meeting, six 8th grade students shared their IMPRESSIVE work from Tech and Design Class. Emily, Katelyn, and Bailey shared the apps they created and programmed as part of the "Apps Creators" unit . Gianna, Rand, and Chloe shared their architectural designs as part of the "Green Architecture Unit". We can't wait to see what the future holds for these young women in STEM!

In class yesterday, Mr. Vroom's 6th grade ELA students read the second to last chapter of their novel and he requested they wait to read the final chapter with him today. The students were pulled into the end of the book so much that many admitted they didn't trust themselves to stop reading so they asked if Mr. Vroom could hold onto their books overnight. We hope they enjoy their last chapter together as a class today!

6th grade scietists are continuing their study of Space Systems as they work to answer the essential question of "What cycles occur on Earth due to the interactions of the Sun, Earth, and Moon?" Students are building and using models to analyze and interpret cyclic patterns caused by the rotations and orbits of Earth and the Moon.
