The Illinois Principals Association (IPA) anually recognizes outstanding student leaders across Illinois. Today, six of our district students were celebrated! MES students Knox M. and Delilah G, MIS students Finley D. and Sean M. , and MJHS students Jacob L. and Morgan M. joined our schools' principals and their families for an awards breakfast at the Renaissance Center in Joliet. Congratulations to these remarkable students!

Congratulations to 8th grade student, Kaylan C., as she was recognized by Lincoln-Way High School District 210 as "The Outstanding Language Learner" for Mokena School District 159. This award recognizes one 8th grade student from each feeder elementary district who has excelled in establishing a great beginning on the path to language biliteracy. The Hoopin for Inclusion Fundraiser is quickly approaching! There has been a slight change in the start time on April 29th. The doors will open at 6:00 pm and the wheelchair basketball game will start at 6:30 pm. In addition to the game, there will be concessions, Aurelio's Pizza of Frankfort, Crumbl Cookie, a variety of activities for the kids, and an incredible amount of raffle prizes.
