For some light-hearted fun celebrating PI Day, 6th grade math students were given just over a week to memorize as many digits of pi as they could. The winning student from each class got to pie their teacher, Ms. Sievert or Mrs. Kolodziej, in the face. Chloe C. memorized the most this year for the whole grade level at a whopping 214 digits!

Sixth grade scientists were able to collect samples from various places in their ponds and view the samples under the microscopes. They were able to see Drosophila (water fleas), many varieties of protists and algae, and even snail embryos!
